Here’s a clue!

Have a look at http://www.realestate.com.au/ and see how many properties the agency you’re considering actually sold in the past twelve months, compared to how many listings they have. If they have 174 listings for sale but sold only 3 in 12 months, they have a success rate of only 1% and should reconsider their career! What favors is this agent doing you by displaying your property on their website? Or maybe they have 60 listings and sold 8 in the last 12 months? Getting better, that’s 20% success! Would you put money on a horse that had a 20% chance of winning? That’s incredible, one sale a month in an office with three sales people? What could they be doing for the 320 hours they each work each month? One thing is for sure, they aren’t selling real estate and they should be losing a lot of weight!!

Our office has 86 listings and made 43 sales in the last 12 months, that’s 50% success! Which agent do you think is more likely to sell your property?
